November 15 Fatality Fire in Hays County
At approximately 1 a.m. November 15 a fire was reported at 100 Buckskin Pass, Driftwood (Rolling Oaks subdivision).
Dale Alton Roberson, 7/8/37, taken to Seton Hospital with second-degree burns over approximately 5 percent of his body, expected to be released today.
Nelva Joyce Roberson, 2/15/44, pronounced deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Terry Kyle.
Cause of fire is still under investigation; foul play is not suspected.
Mobile home was fully engulfed in flames, considered a total loss at approximately $180,000.
Responders included North Hays County Fire/Rescue, Kyle Fire Department, Wimberley Fire Department, and Hays County Fire Marshal’s Office. Approximately 11 vehicles and 24 first responders were on scene.
