On Friday, May 22, Five Mile Dam will reopen to the public. We strongly encourage social distancing and wearing face coverings while in public places. Read these guidelines from the State of Texas Health Services Department, which includes being in a group of no more than 10 individuals and minimizing in-person contact with others not in your household. Jacob’s Well Natural Area and Gay Ruby Dahlstrom Nature Preserve will reopen June 1. The Parks Department will begin taking reservations again on May 28. Reservations made prior to the COVID-19 outbreak for June 1 and beyond are still in the system. Visit this page for more information.
