Hays County Local Health Department today reports nine (9) new lab-confirmed cases along with 94 additional people now considered recovered.
The total number of lab-confirmed cases is 5,665 with 1,845 of those considered active. The number of individuals considered recovered is 3,768. The number of negative tests is 25,830. The Health Department is not awaiting results on any tests.
Hays County has had 164 total hospitalizations and 11 people are currently hospitalized. Some patients are in hospitals outside Hays County but are included in our numbers if they reside here. Likewise, an individual from another county who is in a local hospital would be accounted for in their county of residence.
