Hays County Local Health Department (HCLHD) reports 217 new lab-confirmed cases since Friday’s report along with three (3) new hospitalizations and five (5) new hospital discharges. There are 215 additional persons considered recovered. The total number of persons considered recovered is 13,312.
The current total of lab-confirmed cases for Hays County since the beginning of the pandemic is 15,595. Hays County has 2,085 active cases. In the past 21 days there have been 3,122 active cases. Hays County has had 694 total COVID-related hospitalizations and 33 people are currently hospitalized.

Individual’s names will be on the wait list for whichever of the two groups they qualify, either 1A or 1B per Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) rules.
