Hays County Local Health Department (HCLHD) reports 62 new lab-confirmed cases along with seven (7) new hospitalizations and six (6) new hospital discharges. There are 114 additional persons considered recovered. The total number of persons considered recovered is 15,434.
The current total of lab-confirmed cases for Hays County since the beginning of the pandemic is 16,182. Hays County has 539 active cases. In the past 21 days there have been 1,205 active cases. Hays County has had 733 total COVID-related hospitalizations and 26 people are currently hospitalized.

Individuals’ names will be on the wait list for whichever of the two groups they qualify, either 1A or 1B per Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) rules.
