Hays County Local Health Department (HCLHD) reports three COVID-related fatalities: a Buda man in his 50s, a Kyle man in his 60s, and a San Marcos man in his 90s.
The Department also reports 75 new lab-confirmed cases since Friday along with eight (8) new hospitalizations and 15 new hospital discharges. There are 42 additional persons considered recovered. The total number of persons considered recovered is 15,619.
The current total of lab-confirmed cases for Hays County since the beginning of the pandemic is 16,345. Hays County has 510 active cases. In the past 21 days, there have been 1,035 active cases. Hays County has had 748 total COVID-related hospitalizations and 22 people are currently hospitalized.
