NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON HAYS COUNTY FY 2022 BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that the County of Hays will hold a public hearing on the proposed FY 2022 budget on August
24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., in the Commissioners’ Courtroom, Hays County Courthouse, 111 E. San Antonio St., San Marcos, TX 78666.
The proposed budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $606,995 or 0.63% increase from last year’s
budget. The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $4,381,276.
