The regional animal shelter in San Marcos is the intake shelter for our entire county. Staff and volunteers perform absolute miracles almost daily, but they really need our help right now. Facilities are overcrowded. More animals are brought in daily. It’s a sad and alarming situation. How can each of us step up? Foster. Adopt, Share. Volunteer. Donate. Advocate. Educate. Only we can solve these problems, because we created them. The animals who are brought here, like Bojangles and Yvette, are not here by choice.
