UPDATE:
The washout of the low-water crossing at Francis Harris Rd. following the June 27 storm was repaired and will be opened for traffic on Thursday morning (July 7). (An earlier version of this update had July 5 as the opening date; that has since been revised by the County’s Transportation Department.)
As a result of the rain on June 27, 2022, the low-water crossing at York Creek on Francis Harris Lane, just south of York Creek Rd was damaged. The Hays County Transportation Dept. has closed Francis Harris Lane for repairs. The work timeline has not yet been determined. We will notify everyone once we get a better idea of the completion date.
