Hays County COVID-19 Update July 10

Hays County Local Health Department today reports 92 new lab-confirmed cases, no new hospitalizations and 49 additional recoveries.

Epidemiologist Eric Schneider said the County’s total of lab-confirmed cases is 3,501; of those, 2,835 are considered active. The total number of individuals considered recovered is 655. The number of negative tests is 10,619. Schneider is awaiting results on 63 tests. Hays County has had 69 total hospitalizations; 20 people are currently hospitalized.
