Would you like to become a volunteer deputy registrar? You no longer need to wait to attend a class.
Hays County offers online training for volunteer deputy registrars (VDR). VDR certifications remain valid for two years, expiring on December 31st of even-numbered years.

Read through the material. When you feel adequately trained and prepared, come by our office to take the open-book exam, pass, and receive your certificate of appointment and supply packet. Our office is located in the Hays County Government Center and is open 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the following location:Hays County Government Center 712 South Stagecoach Trail Suite 1012 San Marcos, TX 78666-5999
