Deputy Earl Piatt

Deputy Earl Piatt

Deputy Earl Piatt has over 38 years in law enforcement including county and municipal government.  He is a Master Peace Officer and holds the following certifications:  Police Instructor; Fire & Arson Investigator; Crime Prevention Inspector; Field Training Officer; Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Practitioner; Civil Process Proficiency and Scuba Diver.  Deputy Piatt has over 2,000 hours of TCOLE training.  He is a member of the Texas Gang Investigator Association, Texas Narcotic Officers Association, Justice of the Peace & Constables Association of Texas, Hays County Law Enforcement Association and Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas.

Deputy Robert Vasquez

Deputy Robert Vasquez

Deputy Robert Vasquez joined the Hays County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office in January of 2017. He previously served the Travis County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office where he was assigned as a Warrant Officer.  He has 7 years previous Law Enforcement experience with most of his career spent working as a patrol officer and has previous experience working in Criminal Investigations. He holds an Advanced Peace Officer Certification with TCOLE and is an active member of the Texas Narcotic Officers Association.

Deputy Araseli Amaya

Deputy Araseli Amaya

Deputy Araseli Amaya has been in Law Enforcement for the past 15 years. She holds her Advanced Peace Officer Certification along with other numerous certifications. She started her career with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s office in 2003 where she was first assigned to the patrol division. Shortly after she transferred to the warrants position until later being promoted to the criminal investigations division as a Detective and then back to patrol as a Patrol Sergeant until she resigned in 2012. She later continued her journey with the Kyle Police Department as a patrol officer.

Chief Deputy Robert L. Eller

Chief Deputy Robert L. Eller

Chief Deputy Robert L. Eller has served Hays County Constable, Pct. 2 since January 2017. Prior to joining Hays County, he served 25 years with Travis County, holding ranks as Sr. Deputy, Sergeant and Chief Deputy. After leaving Travis County, he worked for the Aransas County Sheriff’s Office for a year and the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office for 6 years. He has Master Peace Officer, Instructor Certified, and Civil Process Proficiency with the Texas Commission of Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certifications.

Justice Clerk Rachel S. Montez has been with Hays County Constable, Precinct #2 since January 2017. Prior to joining Hays County, she worked for the City of Austin Police Department for 24 years where she held several positions, such as Investigative Assistant and Administrative Supervisor. After leaving the City of Austin, she worked for City of San Marcos Police Department for 2 years. She then went to work for Travis County Constable, Precinct #4 for four years. She holds a Telecommunications Operator certification

Constable Michael Torres

Constable Michael Torres

Constable Michael Torres began his law-enforcement career in 2001 in Dimmit Co., where he served as Deputy and promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Constable Torres worked for Caldwell Co. S.O. where he served as Narcotics Detective for numerous years. Constable Torres worked for Kyle P.D. as a patrol officer for five years prior to being Elected Constable. Constable Torres has over 2500 hours of TCOLE training, holds an Advance Peace Officer Certificate as well as Instructor Certificate. Constable Torres is on the Board of Directors of Texas Narcotics Officer Association (TNOA) as the current Vice President for the Central Region and held other positons such as Sgt. at Arms and
