Pets of the Week

Both of these wonderful pets were found as strays.  Please identify and microchip your pets!

Cat of the week is Lumpy Space Princess, # 45562503, she is a sweet, young lady, almost five months old.  She is a beautiful tortoiseshell type kitty. Tortoiseshell cats are beautiful creatures affectionately called “torties.” She is very playful and does well with other cats. Lumpy Space Princess is already litter box trained. She plans to dress up as herself for Halloween this year since she is already rocking some awesome multicolor makeup.

Dog of the week is Kenny, # 45885625. Kenny is a two-year old Labrador/Great Pyrenees mix. Kenny is currently in a temporary foster home awaiting adoption.  He is a goofy, fun loving boy who has enjoyed meeting the other dogs at the shelter. He is active and smart and already knows “sit”. He loves water and would love going on big river rafting adventures. Please email foster@sanmarcostx.gov to meet Kenny or for information about the shelter foster pets and foster program.

No appointment needed, we are open to the public again!

Our kennels are full of cute faces who need homes, and hurry, there is an adoption special from now until October 31, all adoption-ready animals are half-off! You can adopt any dog or cat, just like Kenny or Lumpy Space Princess, for only $47. #adoptdontshop
