Final Striping and Signal Activation at RM 3237 and Winters Mill Parkway

**ROAD WORK/NEW TRAFFIC SIGNAL HEAD UP**
Re: Final Striping and Signal Activation at RM 3237 and Winters Mill Parkway; all work is weather permitting.
The County’s Contractor, Aaron Concrete Constructors, is scheduled to begin final striping within the project limits on RM 3237 and Winters Mill Parkway in Wimberley on Friday, May 26.
The new traffic signal at the intersection will be placed in flash mode as well. The signal will flash yellow on RM 3237, and will flash red on Winters Mill Parkway and the side street approaches. The signal will remain in flash mode for seven (7) days before being fully activated. The existing stop signs will remain in place during the flash mode period. The final striping and signal activation work is dependent upon favorable weather conditions.
The final striping will be performed using a mobile operation. Final striping will require temporary short-term lane closures in various locations. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times during this work and traffic should not be impacted.
Activation of the signal will also require short-term lane closures to expose the signal heads.
